“ This is my second time coming to this restaurant with my family and honestly the food here is very nice. We got 10 dishes and 5 drinks which came to just under 170 including almost 20 service charge which was very much deserved. In general when getting Chinese takeout, I usually find chow mein very tasteless but I decided to order some for my little one (as noodles tend to be the easiest thing for kids to eat when out) and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was! As was the King Prawn Vermicelli, XO chilli King Prawn fried rice and everything else we ordered. If you like chilli, ask them to make it extra hot. We ordered the following and each dish was lovely: King Prawn Fried Rice XO Chilli King Prawn Vermicelli Chicken Chow Mein Prawn Toast Salt and Pepper Squid Salt and Pepper ribs BBQ ribs Unfortunately I didn’t get a pict of everything. The restaurant staff were great and very accommodating. We even came along with a little birthday cake for my daughter, the staff happily took the bag and when it was time they brought out the cake with the lit candle and had the whole restaurant singing happy birthday for my girl who was absolutely elated. It was very touching. 10s all across the board! I’ve read some of the other reviews and was shocked by a handful. The first time we visited, the serving staff were mixed with East Asian staff and South Asian staff, on this occasion they appeared to be mainly South Asian. THIS SHOULDN’T EVEN BE AN ISSUE! The staff on both visits were great! Parking wise. I purposely only go on Sundays as you can park outside the restaurant on the main road but I don’t know what the restrictions are on the other days. ”
“ Great place to come to after a day at the zoo, less than a five minute walk away. Food was wonderful and well priced, restaurant is very attractive, clean and well presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere, especially this evening when the sun came out following earlier thunderstorms, was a perfect place to be enjoying dinner looking out on the calm, quiet canal. Will look forward to visiting again, thank you! ”
“ A very scenic place to eat but food wise it was not outstanding. I thought it was a waste because with such beautiful decor and views, the restaurant could have upped the game by using Oriental chinaware instead of of dull plastic black bowls. ”

The interior of the restaurant is both exquisite and comfortable. I must say, the food was excellent. We ordered four dishes, each one authentic and delicious, making it a perfect dining experience. “ We went there with some hesitation due to the mixed reviews but then it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Reception was friendly, we were immediately led to our table (lower deck, the only slight disappointment), service was prompt, attentive and smiling, food (we had the crispy aromatic duck) was tasty and good portions. Take a walk around the canals afterwards and the evening will be perfect. I recommend wholeheartedly ”
“ Our Tai Chi group of 16 had lunch last week and it was excellent. Food was delicious, authentic Chinese nothing like your regular Chinese takaway. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere. Families were there too with children. I highly recommend. Not cheap but good value considering its position on the Regents Canal and easy walk to Camden Town. ”
“ I walked across this restaurant on the boat for 20 years but never went in. Finally made it yesterday and I am so glad I found my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. We had the mixed dimsum basket, Laksa noodle soup, wonton soup and crispy noodle. The portions were just right and the staffs were very pleasant. Definitely come back again. I will never queue for a table in Chinatown ever again. ”
